The New York Times reports today that Kodak will cut 3500 to 4500 more jobs because of declining sales of its film and digital photo products.

According to the Times, the cuts could reduce the number of Kodak employees to less than 19,000, a level not seen since the Depression era of the 1930s. For context, Kodak's payroll peaked in 1988 at 145,300 employees.
