Food & Wine Just Lost Six Bucks.

I just checked my mailbox, here at work, and found a subscription offer from Food & Wine magazine.

For just six measly dollars, I'd enjoy six issues of Food & Wine, including the Holiday issue, The Healthy Eating Issue, the Spring Wine Issue and the Grilling Issue. And if I paid my $6 up-front with a credit card, I'd get three extra issues.

I'd honestly never given subscribing to Food & Wine much thought before, but I do like to cook and I'm a fan of good Food photography, so I figured 'Six bucks? Why not?'

But then I saw this: ...[W]hichever option you choose, you'll enjoy automatic renewal of your subscription annually at the then current rate...."

So, sorry, Food & Wine, you had me at $6 but lost me on the negative billing. Which I do not enjoy as much as you think.
